We rescued this sweet girl from a kill pen. She is a spunky 3 year old miniature horse. We have showed her a few times and she does great. She has had consistent farrier work, picks up her feet well. She would make an amazing addition.
We have three 4 month old male black cats available. All three of these boys are spunky love bugs. Bear and Moose are quite attached since we did receive them together. Moses does have some extra thumbs which are quite stinkin adorable. Wolf would do better as an only kitty but he will love his people like crazy! All are fixed and vaccinated and ready for their furever home!
We had a busy weekend here at the ranch! We have so many new adorable faces.
Penny and George were rescued from a hoarding situation and they are already blossoming into the sweetest little pups. They were very timid at first, but after lots of love and treats they can’t get enough! Both are great with other dogs, fixed and vaccinated. They will be ready for their new home 12/1.
This sweet litter and their mama were brought to us during the November full moon and eclipse, so we had to give them some great names. These babies are about 3 weeks old and mama is doing great with them. They will be fixed and neutered when they are old enough, but for now we would love to get some forever homes set in place for them! N

Novie, the mama, will also be looking for her forever home once her babies are weaned and she is fixed/neutered. She is a absolute sweetheart!
Mel was scheduled to be put down the day we arrived at the shelter. She was in a cage away from the rest of the animals as she had ear mites and other infections. She is now happy and healthy living here at the ranch with us.
Molly‘s story is one that no one ever likes to hear. Her owner unexpectedly passed away. sweet Molly stayed b his side until she was found. Family and friends were not in a position to care for her and they were able to connect with the ranch to find her a safe place to go. We feel blessed to be able to help during life’s difficult events. We continue to send love to the family and wish them the best. Molly is doing amazing and has won over all of our hearts.
Lil Bit was rescued from a kill pen down on the Mexico border. He came to us with an equine infection, which we were able to treat and clear up within a couple weeks. He found a new home with a young boy who loves him so much.
We received these beautiful girls from breeders. They unfortunately lived in cages most of their lives, therefore the hair on their tails and backs was matted and almost gone because they sat on the cage floors for so long. When we took them to the vet we were told that their uteruses were black because they had given birth so many times. We found them a loving home once healthy, where they are living it up to the fullest.
Coyote came to us after losing his mom and litter mates to a coyote attack. We nursed him until he was able to eat solids on his own. He was one strong little dude so we saw Coyote fitting for his name. His new family kept his name and he is doing great.
A friend of ours found a pregnant momma on the side of the road. We agreed to help foster the puppies and find homes for them. We took in Gus and was able to find his forever home with one of our family members.
A’dee and Covid were brought to us along with 13 other kittens after sadly being found in a suitcase that had been placed in a dumpster. They were only a few weeks old when they came to us. We were able to nurse them until they could eat on their own. The rest of their siblings found forever homes while these two have stayed with us at the ranch.
Fancy was rescued from a kill pen on the Mexican border. She was malnourished and quite timid. Through months of good nutrition, vet care, and love she is doing amazing. We came to learn that due to a previous back injury, she is no longer rideable. We plan to train her for equine therapy. we hope to be able to visit nursing homes and veterans. She has such a calm soul and we can’t wait to see her continue to blossom.
Chief and M’ee LuLu we’re brought to us by a friend after finding out the owner no longer could keep them and were possibly going to be strays. They have been absolutely inseparable since they arrived on the ranch and have now made ROC Rescue Ranch their forever home.
